I am working on a project and want to use a style I have seen before in Victorian paintings of birds and flowers with really deep and rich colors. After searching I was only able to find a painting for sale on some antique site. Usually the background of these paintings are just white/ aged cream. Audobon can work, but his are not as opaque as I have in my mind.
What would make a good and creative Painting for a Wedding Gift?

This is for a girl that is kind of picky in the gift department, and i’m taking a big risk by making her something for a wedding gift (vs. just going out and buying it) so i want it to be special. I thought about picking her favourite colours and doing some flowers or something, but the paintings i’ve done for her I don’t think are special enough for a wedding gift. I thought about painting her dog for a wedding gift, but my husband thinks it’s not a good wedding gift idea. So i’m just lost.
Her favourite colours are Blue green and purple. And she’s picky about her taste in art too. She likes the ocean, but already has an ocean painting. I know she likes hand done paintings (so a real painting will be good), but so far… everything i’ve ever drawn or done for her, she’s sent back to me with things to fix -_- So it’d have to be perfect.
Yes… picky friends suck… but i don’t think finding her wedding gift list and spending the 10 minutes buying it is very personal and special enough for my best and oldest friend’s big moment in life. Plus i had an idea to buy her a complete bed set for the wedding (pillows, decorative pillows, blanket… sheets…the whole works, but she kind of ruined that plan)
Some help and advise would be nice.

To V: I have a decent camera (Canon 5D Mark II), I know how to use it and I am pretty good at taking pictures. If you re-READ my question, you can tell I am only asking how to make a side by side picture.
